I cook because I love… My family came to NYC from Calabria, Italy when I was six, and although my parents had very little, our table or “tavoli” was always full. One of the ways my mom showed her love was by cooking a fantastic meal, and to this day she is one of the best chefs I know. We were poor to say the least and I was working by the age of eleven in my first restaurant. From that age my love and passion for the restaurant business grew. I knew that my mother’s gift was growing inside me and that one day I would fulfill my American dream of owning a restaurant of my own. I own two places with my brothers in NJ, and thought it time to move it closer to home; something I’ve dreamed of for years. My wish is that you’ll find the love and the passion that drives what I love most: making food irritable!
